Connect to WiTAFE 

WiTAFE allows staff and students to access the internet via mobile phone, laptop and other mobile devices.  Connecting to WiTAFE only takes a few simple steps:

• Open the wireless network connections on your mobile device and select the ‘Open_WiTAFE’ network and enter the network key ‘openwitafe’.

• Next, open your browser and you will be prompted to authenticate your account by entering a user name and password.

Student username - studentnumber@student.tafe eg.12345678@student.tafe 
Staff username - networkusername@staff.tafe eg.smitht@staff.tafe
(Your password will be your usual network password)

• Click ‘Continue’ and then click ‘Internet Access Only’

WiTAFE is now available in the Maryborough, Hervey Bay and Bundaberg RICs and various 'hot spots' at each campus.
