Remembrance Day
Remembrance Day marks the anniversary of the armistice which ended the First World War (1914 - 1918). Each year Australians observe one minute silence at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, in memory of those who died or suffered in all wars and armed conflicts.
Join us in the Research and Information Center at each of the four Wide Bay TAFE Campuses, we will be holding a small ceremony beginning at 10.55am. Staff will read a small passage, then at 11am we will play the Last Post, followed by one minute silence.
Lest we forget.
